Just a few notes on the Junior set up for 2020-21;

 

Payment for Membership

 

Our Sunday sessions are provided for free due to some generous sponsorship from retired players and other local companies and this has been in place for the last 3 years. The Junior part of the club is a major focus for this year so this will remain in place for this season at least. However;

 

• If anyone has an idea on how we could attract more sponsorship to further increase the expansion of Junior Hockey in our area then could you let me know? We are able to reclaim tax on any donations so this would give us 20% more on top of any donation

 

• A number of you have accidentally paid registration, Under 12’s don’t have to pay anything for membership so our Treasurer will be getting in contact to sort a refund soon

 

Plans for the Season;

 

• Training will continue while we are allowed through to the end of March with a break in December (last session is 13th December) we will be out there rain or shine so buckle down and enjoy the weather, unfortunately you can’t see the pitch from Costa Coffee 😊

 

• There are a number of matches planned at both Under 12 and Under 14 where everyone is invited that qualify age wise, and they are;

22nd March – Ashbourne

 

 

Under 14s

 

15th November – Newark

13th December – Newark

14th March – TBC

 

Lastly, if anyone’s child wants to try goalkeeping we have a junior keepers kit with their name on 😊
