We’ll return to league post Xmas food and beer.....don’t think I noticed the difference on or off the pitch. Started first few minutes moving the ball only to be undone by a soft goal then few minutes later Simon went into a go slow watch the ball moment to watch a slow cross slide passed him into far corner and that was it 2-0......still under pressure conceding short corners looked like backs to the wall and a disastrous return to league games but finally something clicked and for remainder of first half the game was ours....slick through ball saw grozzy touch passed keeper and 2-1 half time. Second half saw a resurgent south NOTTS team literally take the game by the scruff of neck and sharpey playing every position making up for late arrival and wondering what a stick was in first half. The game was ours, strong defence hard work in middle by Andy and AJ quality finish again by grozzy and mike saw the lead taken and West Bridgford snuffed out of the game then disaster one too many fall outs and disagreeing with decisions saw myself walk the plank of shame on a green....30 seconds to go no problem how wrong it was like Man Utd under Ferguson where extra time gets extended as until they get a position to score well the latter it was a short corner, final whistle a shot that Simon saved, got stuck they hit at Simon again and then it somehow popped out and then in off the post.....gutted if only because we deserved the win we were worthy of it and outclassed a team that are above us in league. Bodes well and promise to borrow some of zippy off rainbows zip for mouth with a lock on next time...... good game all round from anyone.
