The game started with South at the visitors early. Goals from Carlos and Nathan showed the teams early dominance. Despite this dominance Boots managed to get a scrappy goal back to go in at half time just one goal behind, a stroke of luck for them. The second half started more equal in terms of domination of the ball. Boots were building through their team while south were breaking quickly, a good contest! Boots pulled ahead 3-2 from continued scrappy goals and defensive mistakes. Carlos, however, was on fire and pulled a goal back. At 4-3 to them he fired in the goal of the game to bring us to parity! Top left corner with their keeper rooted. Despite the score south were strangely subdued and very little fire in their bellies lost two goals from short corners. Thanks to Dick and Ray as always!
