Neil batty reports, getting DOD for getting hit by a Rocket of a pass from the kind and sharing Brian Blackmore, I was 5 yards away and someone was available the other side of the pitch I wasn’t really in the way but boooooom! Ouch! Good job I was slightly out the way because it was about THAT height phew it was only my arm!

So top of the league visited today and went away very disappointed unbeaten this season...... until today! 

With good availability this week pace and beauty on the bench to start with J lane and N Batty waiting to pounce watch out Chesterfield! 

Both teams started well and strong good exchanges looked to be a tough game ahead!
South got hold of the game and passed around beautifully in the middle of the pitch, quite dominantly,
It went only way quickly after 10 mins it was goal after goal!!!

A proper Captain Stuart Croston far post special, a phenomenal pass from the, superb, Gary Pickering on fire today, he went onto bag himself a well deserved goal too, as a 16 yard hit was passed straight to a pressing Gary a little toddle into the D and smashed it past the keeper what a beauty!

We rolled back the years with a Will Brydon short corner power flick!

Now we get to the outrageously lucky Elliot Dixon a goal here and there!
Elliot’s first goal - massive aerial into the D from Brain, deflected high in the air by grozzy onto Ellz stick 1 yard out with an open goal.
Then another deflection perfect placed and meant it ‘apparently’, exuberant movement in the middle of the pitch a fast pass in and right place right time for Elliot again.
Elliot managed to get 3 today, bobbled one past the keepers shoulder. A great/ fabulous show from our own pet ‘sloth!’ Got to mention the serious hard work from midfield and wing backs, Adam Sharpe, Nathan Gerrard, Gary Pickering and Stevie Powell great effort!!
In defence the ever powerful Will Brydon, the road block of Brian Blackmore and the quality of Steve Waters ‘YOU SHALL NOT PASS!’ But when the opposition did manage to squeeze by Sam Lane was there for some solid keeping!
