Match Report | Still on a high from last weeks 4-0 win, South geared up with a full squad, a speaker, many layers- only missing manager Euan. From the first push back, South was on the permanent attack. Goal keeper Liberty was bored after barely any action on the oppositions forward line. Defenders Jo, Eleanor, Sophie and Bella assisted in not letting a single goal go in, displaying great team work and communication. Midfield line was driven by Caroline and Katrina, perfectly supported by Ruby and Julie helping on the wing. Half time came around with a score of 4-0, after a plea for people to be goal hungry and keep up the energy, the team did not disappoint. After over 20 short corners, we were able to practice many different forms of attacking, giving everyone a chance to change positions. The subs came on and off and everybody gave it their all. Emma, Beth, Abbie and Louise upfront were always in the right position to hit it in to the net. It was a truly great match that showed how well we can support each other and communicate so clearly that we are able to go and win 11-0. Great game guys, super proud of you all. Same again next week! Goals: Caroline 3, Ruby 1, Louise 2, Emma 2, Julie 1, Katrina 2. |
