Men's 3rd XI Vs North Notts 5

Mighty 3's welcomed high flying North Notts 5’s to Bingham yesterday. Confidence flowing following recent excellent results, 3's set out it's stall with a solid experienced core and youthful enthusiasm on the flanks....here we go.
Expecting a tough game, South went one down with 5 mins...then we started to play! Not naming names, all departments put in an excellent shift, working for each other and sharing possession throughout. Great interplay up and down each side. Nothing in it all game, unlucky not to score, solid in defence, a good end to end match. As South continued to push forward for the equalizer, they scored a second on the break in the last minute of the game.
So a loss 0-2...bit harsh..1-1 would have been a fairer outcome but we can all hold our heads high. This team is learning and growing each week. Well done all.
