A super sunny day at Mansfield! Don’t be fooled though it was absolutely freezing!
Slow start from south against Mansfield
Eventually 10mins ish after a lot of pressure Grozzy started the scoring a delicate respectable lift into the goal, ‘here we go’ was called, Grozzy snatched a Grozzy special far post! 2-0 and things started getting easier some pure dominance going on now, Ellz watching and learning from Grozzy popped in a far post special, 3-0
Back to grozzy popping in his 3rd for yet another hat trick Grozzy with a lift into the goal off a rebound the keeper was a busy man today, to be fair making some excellent saves throughout the match! 4-0
The young stars thought is was their time to shine with Toby and Thomas dominating their positions they were a great force to behold, Thomas managing to score with some sharp skill being in the right place at the right time! 5-0
2nd half and nearly 15 mins in total to the next goal and it was down to ellz to open the scoring in the 2nd half!! Back on the gas pedal, Toby’s dominance In the middle was more and more visible with some super skills to match a cool goal and we made sure there’s a photo for the family album of his celebration
With some form of super complex Craig, cotters, Toby, owain interplay type thing onto the keepers pad from ellz and keeper own goal ellz got his 3rd and hat trick too!
We had a few swaps of people on the floor, Toby getting legged up multiple times
The defence were strong when needed with Knappett having the forwards wrapped up the whole game,
Craig Bingham had a sortie into the opposition D with a firm shot unlucky sir For next time
Brian also got up into the D too for a couple of shots but again no success
Grozzy had a goal disallowed, not a happy Grozzy but he made up for it 3 mins later with a firm/ hardest slap you’ve seen Grozzy do far post just to prove his point grrrrrozzy! final score 9-0
Gotta mention Dancing Queen Tommy Hall quiet at his end throwing some shapes, I’m scared at what goes on in Tommys head sometimes but this time it must have been some cool chooooons!
Compliments to the youngsters outstanding play today and a solid performance from the rest of the team
