SNHC 2’s lost 6-2 against North Notts 2’s

A bright autumn day greeted the few SNHC 2s players who turned up on time for the 10.30 meet. The ever-enthusiastic Kai and Robbie were warming up as rest of the team wandered onto the pitch noticing NN’s working drills with 12 players on the pitch. 

As the whistle blew it was obvious which team was ready for battle as NN’s battered the South defence scoring 4 goals within the first 10 mins of the game. South rallied and managed to find some decent phases of play but couldn’t get the ball past the opposition goalkeeper.

After an uplifting half time talk South came out of the blocks with the intention of scoring and taking the game to the opposition; a short corner scrambled routine gave Alex the first goal. Shortly after Gary stepped up and scored the second.  A physical NN smashed their way through the South team to score another 2 goals and finished off the game winning 6-2

Thank you to Tony who offered to bench but spent most of the game on the pitch and a huge thank you to Simon and Jim who had to manage a very difficult game.

Our goals came from Alex after a short corner scramble and Gary from a trademark top bins shot.
