| Match Report | South Notts 2s vs Boots 4s South started with a bang thanks to a goal from Alex within the first 30 seconds; could he break his streak of one goal games? As it turns out, yes he could, as he managed to score another 2 goals in the 1st half. However, Boots were close behind with 2 goals of their own by half time. After a few words of wisdom from Mark, South went back into the game feeling ready to win. It was going well, with another goal from South where a lovely pass from Kai meant Fin secured another good goal for us, just keeping us ahead of Boots who were now on 3. Finally, the best moment of the game arrived. After South won a short corner, the ball ended up bouncing in the D perfect for Robbie to whack it on the bounce, through the keepers legs. Thank goodness the captain remembered to invite me. Overall, a good result and not too bad for the first game back. Well done everyone. |
