| Match Report | On a dry milder day South entertained local rivals West Bridgford 8’s. South was on it from the off and easily matched the opposition. Play went from end to end with South passing the ball around nicely. Graham at the back playing well, clearing the defence alongside Greg, Adam and Adam H. Simon in goal making important blocks. Midfield was excellent with Will returning after injury. Up front veteran Ken and Paul coming close on a number of occasions. Batty’s appearance gave the defence more strength and he had a few strong runs. However, on the hour against the run of play Bridgford scored and unfortunately however South tried they couldn’t get the equaliser. Overall a great all round performance. |
